Sparky is the result of countless nights at the keyboard: no massive studio, no publisher, just one computer, absolute focus, and a love for pure arcade addiction. 3. Sparky Escape App (Leaderboard & Highscores)
If you use the online leaderboard features in our application "Sparky" (Mobile app & Windows), the following data will be transmitted to our server and stored:
- A freely chosen pseudonym (player name)
- Your score (game points)
- Your country (derived from your device settings)
- The date and time of the highscore submission
This data is processed and stored exclusively for the purpose of operating, displaying, and maintaining the global highscore list and preventing fraudulent entries. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of the contract/service requested by you) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in ensuring game integrity and fraud prevention). This data will be stored as long as the leaderboard service is active or until you request its deletion.
4. Server Log Files
When you visit this website, the web server automatically collects technical information for operational reasons. This includes your IP address, date and time of the request, the volume of data transferred, and the browser used. This data is processed solely to ensure the trouble-free operation of the website (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR) and is not merged with other data sources.

If you use the support form, the data you provide (name, email address, message) will be processed and stored exclusively to handle your request and any follow-up questions (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR).
